We will fit the tutu or costume directly on you, take precise measurements and adjust the hook-and-eye closures to your body.

Confirm and prepare
Your booking is confirmed once the hire fee and $200 refundable security bond have been received. After your fitting, your hire piece will be prepared for pickup on the agreed start date.

Why is an in-person fitting required five working days before my hire period?
We want you to look and feel your best on stage. Requiring an in-person fitting at least five working days in advance allows us to fit the garment directly on you, take precise measurements and make the necessary hook-and-eye adjustments for a polished fit.
How do you ensure the tutu or costume fits me properly?
During your in-person fitting, all hook-and-eye closures are measured and adjusted specifically to your body before the hire period begins. This tailored setup creates a sleek contour and helps prevent slipping during your performance.
What if I cannot attend an in-person fitting?
Because every tutu and variation costume requires an in-person fitting at least five working days before the hire start date, we are unable to fulfil hires without an in-person appointment. Please schedule your fitting well in advance of your performance date.
How is the hire period calculated?
The hire period begins on the day the tutu or costume is collected.
Should I clean the tutu or costume?
No. Please do not wash, dry clean or iron the tutu or costume. All cleaning is professionally managed by Tutus on Stage.
Where do collection and return take place?
Collection and return are by appointment from Carindale, Brisbane.
What happens if the tutu or costume gets damaged or stained?
Do not attempt to clean, wash or repair the tutu or costume yourself—delicate fabrics and embellishments require specialised care. Minor wear is expected, but significant damage, heavy makeup stains or missing embellishments may incur a fee. Please notify us immediately if damage occurs.
How should I care for and transport the tutu or costume during my hire?
Always use the protective bag provided and follow the care instructions given at collection. Keep your tutu or costume away from food, drink, damp environments and sharp jewellery or accessories that could snag delicate fabrics.
What happens with late returns?
Late returns may incur additional hire charges unless prior arrangements have been made.
